Karin Chue

Program Director, Women's Teams & Youth Volleyball Clinics

Coach Karin is an institution for youth volleyball development in Massachusetts. A member of the Board of Directors with Beantown Volleyball Club and is responsible for Player Development. Karin has been a valuable member of our club for many years and has had many roles. She has coached at all levels of the program and will teaches our younger athletes. Karin has also coached volleyball at the college level and with the Newton South and Natick HS programs.

Harry Aue

First Vice President at East West Bank

Harry is an original member of Boston Wing Wor, and a founding member of the Boston Hurricanes. He played/coached in the NACIVT since 1972, and served as Tournament Director for the 60th and 66th NACIVT held in Boston.With the annual NACIVT growing larger every year, Harry's seat on the Advisory Board will give the Boston Hurricanes an established presence on the national volleyball scene as he is also the Treasurer of the NACVA-Boston (North American Chinese Volleyball Association), and a member of NTC (National Tournament Committee), the legislative ruling body for the NACIVT.Although we all know Harry has been a big part of the Hurricanes, guiding and advising us for over 30 years, please join us in welcoming him to our Advisory Board. We are very fortunate to continue to have Harry's wealth of experience and his depth of knowledge and insight as a resource.Add Description here

Deborah Re

Big Sisters Chief Executive Officer

Deborah Re has more than 20 years of management, entrepreneurial, and organizational development experience. Before joining Big Sister in 2006, Deb worked for City Year Boston where she served as Executive Director. Prior to her management of City Year, Deb was President and Founder of Bridges to Business, a company that specialized in training and placing young adults with non-traditional backgrounds in the workforce. In addition, she has 16 years of experience in the private sector as Vice President of Administration for Keyport Life Insurance Company. As a testament to her commitment to the community, she received the 2001 LeadBoston Community award, the Heroes Among Us award from the Boston Celtics, and the 2011 Changing People’s Lives award from Grand Circle Corporation. In addition, New England Minority Enterprise Development recognized her for helping companies develop a more inclusive workforce in the Greater Boston area. She serves on the Advisory Board for the West End House Boys and Girls Club, the Selection Advisory Council of the Greenlight Fund, and is co-chair of Mass Mentoring Partnership’s Leadership Council. Deb holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.Add Description here

Peter Roby

Athletic Director at Northeastern University

Roby, former men's basketball head coach at Harvard University, marketing vice president at Reebok and director of Northeastern's Center for Sport in Society, brings broad experience and unique perspective to his position.

 

Roby oversees Northeastern's 18-sport, NCAA Division I athletic department, which competes in the highly-competitive Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), Hockey East Association and Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges (EARC). In addition, Roby oversees Northeastern Campus Recreation, which offers more than 40 club and 30 intramural sports teams, as well as a wealth of physical education opportunities for Northeastern students.
